Displaying Customer Balance Before and After the Sales Order in the Print Template

The information about the customer’s balance before and after a sales order is crucial for verifying transaction accuracy. This reduces potential errors or inquiries.

Here’s how you can display this information in the print template.

Steps to Display Customer Balance in the Print Template

Note: You cannot modify the default print template. Ensure that you already have a custom print template for the sales order.

  • Go to Settings.

  • Select "Print Setup".

  • Choose "Sales".

  • Specify the paper size (e.g., "Receipt" or "A4").

  • Select the template you want to modify.

  • Click on "More Actions".

  • Press "Edit".

  • Enable the following options from the “Order master data” section: "Balance Before" - "Balance After".

  • Click on "Save".

Note: The “Before and After Balance” refers to the customer’s balance at the time the sales order was saved. It does not get updated if the order is reprinted later.
