Creating Different Part Numbers for Each Item under a grouping stock item
Go to "Settings"
Select "module Settings"
Choose "Warehouse module"
Make the part number "Unique" - This can be enabled through "Stock items fields" section.
Go to the Warehouse Module
Select "Stock items"
Click "New"
Click "Is grouping item"
Add the “item description”.
Select a classification
Enter the part number
Assign dynamic properties values
Click "Save"
At this point, items under the grouping item will be created with the same part number, followed by sequential numbers, as shown in the following image:
