You can easily add brand names to the product database through "Edara" to effectively manage them.
Therefore, we will explain the steps to create a new brand so you can use it when registering products.
Creating a new brand
1- Go to the warehouse module
2- Open the "Stock items" page
3- Click "New"
4- Click the icon (🖉) next to the brand selection
5- Enter the brand name
6- Enter the brand manager
7- Click "Save"
Note: Ensure you select "Please select" from the drop-down menu to create the new brand name. If you choose a specific brand name and click on the (🖉) icon, it means you want to edit the brand name.
Deleting the brand
If you want to delete any brand existing in the system, you can:
1- Go to the warehouse module
2- Click "Stock items"
3- Click "New"
4- Select the brand to be deleted
5- Click the icon (🖉) next to the brand selection
6- Click "Delete"
Note: Ensure you first that there are no products associated with the brand you want to delete, to avoid any disruption in the data in the reports.
