The stock item chart (classification) is an effective part of warehouse management strategy, providing a clear visualization of the warehouse environment and helping organize products through a precise classification structure.
This enables companies to improve inventory visibility and facilitate search and tracking operations.
In this article, we will outline the step-by-step process of creating an item map through "Edara."
How to create a chart of stock items (classifications)
Go to the Warehouses Module
Click "chart of stock items”
Stand in the classification and then click "New Group"
Note: You can create a main group named after the company, with sub-groups representing the company's departments.
Stand on the classification and click "New Group" to create a new classification under the current classification.
Note: You can create an item from the chart of stock items. For detailed steps, refer to the article: Creating a Stock Item.
