Creating Accounts Group

When you need to add a new classification, you can create a new account group within the Chart of Accounts.

Creating Accounts Group

  • Go to the "Accounting" module.

  • Open the "Chart of Accounts" page.

  • Click on the "+" icon until you reach the group where you want to add the new group.

Note: You cannot create an account group inside an account. The system only allows creating groups within groups or adding accounts within a group.

  • Select the group.

  • Click on "New Node".

You will be automatically redirected to the "Nodes" page.

  • Enter the new group details, such as (Description, Alias, etc.).

  • Click on "Save".

Note: If the group already contains accounts, you won’t be able to create a new group within it. In this case, you can create a new group at a higher level, then add subgroups under it and move the accounts to them through the "Re-locate accounts" page.
