Creating a Warehouse

Inventory management is vital for your business. Organizing resources within warehouses significantly impacts management efficiency and decision-making. Therefore, at "Edara," we have added the feature of creating warehouses and linking items to them.

This article presents the steps to implement this easily through "Edara."

Creating a Warehouse

  • Go to the warehouse module

  • Click on "Warehouses"

  • Press "New"

  • Add the warehouse code

  • Write the Warehouse description

  • Click "Save"

Note: After clicking "Save," a message will appear asking, "Do you want to allocate some stock items to this warehouse?" You can click "Yes" to allocate items in the warehouse, or "No" if you do not want to allocate items at this time.

Linking the Warehouse to Accounts from the Warehouses Interface

First, you need to link the warehouse to accounts from the warehouse interface to be able to create and save transactions. You can do this through the following steps:

  • Go to "Data"

  • Select "Warehouses Interface"

  • Choose "Warehouse" from the drop-down list

  • Specify the accounts

Note: You need to add an account for zero sales to facilitate the posting of related entries.

  • Click "Save"
