Creating and Updating Price Lists and Linking Them to a Customer

When dealing with customers who have different sales prices, you can create multiple price lists and link each customer to the appropriate one—whether end user, dealer, or a custom price list—to ensure the correct price is applied automatically during sales.

Creating and Updating Price Lists and Linking Them to a Customer

1. Creating a Price List

  • Go to the “Sales” module.

  • Open the “Price list” page.

  • Click on “Add New”.

  • Enter the price list name.

  • Select the default price (Zero, End User, Dealer, or Super Dealer).

Note: Based on the selected default price, item prices are automatically loaded—either as zero if “Zero” is selected, or from the item’s basic data (End User, Dealer, or Super Dealer).

  • Click on “Save”.

2. Displaying and Updating Prices

  • Select the Price Lists you want to display or update (you can filter by Stock items classifications or Brand).

  • Select the stock item classification.

  • Select the appropriate Unit of measure.

The default Selection here is “Items without UOM”.

  • Click on “Show Stock Items”.

The items will be displayed according to the selected filters for viewing only.

  • Click on “Update Prices”.

  • Click on “Download Shown Items”.

  • Open the Excel file and update stock item prices (price, discount, and discount type for each price list).

  • Click on “Select updated file from your device” to upload the edited file.

  • Click on “Upload File”.

  • Select “Yes, this is okay for me”.

  • Click on “View Updated Price Lists” to view the lists after the update.

3. Linking a Customer to a Price List

  • Go to the “Sales” module.

  • Open the “Customers” page.

  • Click on “🔍” next to the name to search for the customer.

  • Click on “Edit”.

  • Select the pricing type: “Custom”.

  • Select the price list you want to link to the customer.

  • Click on “Update”.

Notes:

  • Make sure that the “Change item price when changing customer” setting is enabled in the sales settings to ensure that the price list linked to the customer is automatically applied.

  • Make sure the “Show item last sales price” setting is disabled in the sales settings so it does not affect the prices in the price lists.
