"Edara" allows you to choose how item codes are generated automatically, either by continuing from the last code you entered or by using the system sequence. This makes the coding process easier and ensures more flexibility.
Selecting Item Code Generation Method
Go to “Settings”.
Open the “Module settings” page.
Select the ‘Warehouse” module.
Enable the option “Auto generated” for the Code.
A window will appear with two available methods:
Last Code + 1: Codes are generated by incrementing the last item code.
System Sequence: Generates codes using the system sequence.
Select your preferred method from the window.
Click on “Confirm”.
After confirming, this icon “” will appear next to the activation button. Hovering over it shows the currently selected method, and you can also click it to change the method at any time.
Click on “Save”
Notes:
When choosing “Last Code + 1”, the last item code should be numeric. If the last code wasn’t numeric, the system will start generating codes from 1.
If you want to start coding from a specific number (e.g., 1000), enter it manually first. Then, enable Auto-Generate Item Code and select "Last Item Code + 1".
