Displaying Customer Code on the Sales Order Printout

The customer code serves as a unique identifier for each client, making it easier to retrieve their data. This is especially useful when managing a large customer base or handling multiple orders simultaneously.

Here’s how to display the customer code on the sales order printout template.

Displaying Customer Code on the Sales Order Printout

  • Go to "Settings".

  • Open the "Print Setup" page

The default choices are the “Sales” module and the “Sales Order” document.

  • Ensure the paper size is set to A4 or Custom.

  • Choose the desired template to modify.

  • Click on "More Actions".

  • Select "Edit".

  • Go to the "Company & Bill to Data" section.

  • Enable the "Customer Code" column by clicking the checkbox ▢.

  • Click "Save".

Note: You can customize the code properties through module settings, as "Edara" allows you to activate or deactivate the following three features:

  • "Unique": Ensures the code cannot be duplicated.

  • "Auto-Generate": Allows the system to create the code automatically. Before enabling this, ensure all customers have a numeric code, and you can update them in bulk if needed.

  • "Required": Specifies whether generating a code is mandatory.
