As per the tax authority’s regulations, you are required to send the serial number of each device used in the point-of-sale (POS) system to the authority for approval. This is necessary for the taxpayer to use the device for sending E-Receipts.

How to Find the Serial Number for POS
Open the Command Prompt window on Windows.
Type the following command: wmic bios get serialnumber
The serial number will appear, for example: MXL3232CR3 (as shown in the image below).
