Having a flexible permissions system that can be quickly updated when employee roles or responsibilities change helps to assign each user data permissions aligned with their job responsibilities. This ensures that they can access only the data they need to complete their work.
Moreover, restricting access for irrelevant users to certain data reduces the chances of unintended input errors due to misuse of data.
Therefore, "Edara" allows for controlling data permissions, enabling you to grant or revoke permissions based on business needs. This article outlines the steps for doing so.
Granting Data Permissions
Go to the Users Module.
Click on "Data Permissions".
Select the user or group of users you want to grant access.
Select the module where you want to grant access.
Click on “▶”.
Grant data permissions by clicking on “▢”.
Click "Save".
Note: To revoke data permissions, follow the same steps, but click on the box marked ☑ to remove the check, then save.
