“Edara” allows you to control account permissions, enabling you to grant or revoke access based on business needs. In this article, we will explain how to revoke permissions on an account.

Revoking Permissions on an Account from the Chart of Accounts

If the user has permissions on classifications within the Chart of Accounts, follow these steps:

Revoke Permission on the classification

  • Go to “Users”

  • Select “Data Permissions”

  • Choose the username or user group you want to manage permissions for

  • Select “Accounting”

  • Select “Accounts classifications”

  • Click on “▶”

  • Revoke the permission on the category by clicking on ☑️

  • Click on “Save

Revoke Permission on the Account

  • Select “Accounting”

  • Select “Accounts”

  • Click on “▶”

  • Revoke the permission on the “Account” by clicking on ☑️.

  • Click on “Save
