Go to Warehouse
Select Stock items
Click New
Enter the item description
Write the Validity period (Ex: 6 months).
Choose the classification
Activate the Use batch number setting.
Activate the Use expiry date setting.
In case only the validity date will be used and the batch number will not be used
Activate the Autofill batch number with the expiry date setting.
Click Save
