# Editing Custom Fields

If you need to add new functions or improve existing features, custom fields must be modified to support these enhancements.

## Adding a New Option to a Custom Field

1. Go to Data
2. Select "Custom fields"
3. Click on the desired field
4. Click on the 🖊 icon
5. Add the new option to the custom field and select it from the dropdown list once it appears
6. Click " **Save** "
