# Editing a Stock Item

Some items may require unique adjustments that differ from the rest, such as updating a specific attribute or adding new information.

This can be more effectively achieved by editing each item individually.

## Editing a Stock Item

1. Go to the warehouse module
2. Open “Stock items”
3. Click on the 🔍 icon next to the item name
4. Enter the desired name or (*) if the item name is not remembered, and all created items will appear
5. Click "OK"
6. Click on " **Edit** "
7. Make the required adjustments
8. Click on " **Update** "

> **Note:** You can also perform [bulk edits](https://help.getedara.com/en/articles/5240807-stock-items-bulk-editing) on certain item properties, either manually or via Excel, after ensuring that you have the necessary permissions.
