# Creating a Purchase Request

If you manage a store and need to purchase new products from suppliers regularly, you can easily create purchase requests using “Edara”.

## Creating a Purchase Request

1. Go to the Purchase module.
2. Open the “Purchase Requests” page.
3. Click on " **New** ".
4. Select the required products using the search tool “🔎”.
5. Specify the desired quantity.
6. Choose the supplier.
7. Select the location (if applicable).
8. Click " **Save** ".

> **Note:** A purchase request is an initial step that must be followed by a purchase order. You can either [create a purchase order directly from a previous purchase request](https://help.getedara.com/en/articles/6498871-creating-a-purchase-order-from-a-purchase-request) or [review past requests to create a new one](https://help.getedara.com/en/articles/6498832-viewing-the-details-of-purchase-requests).
