This feature brings you many benefits, as it has become possible to print and read the batch number along with the part number using the barcode, which allows it to be used in issue documents, which makes the work more accurate and speedy at the same time (as we avoid the defects of manual entry).
Save a barcode form that reads the batch number with the part number and use it to print barcodes for items from a receiving document (purchase order or receive supplies).
Go to Settings, select Global, then enable the option Allow selecting batch number by using barcode.
When selecting the item using the barcode in issue documents (IO/IT/IR/SO), the batch number will be selected automatically.
⭐Important alert : "Edara" uses the character "_" as a separator between the part number and the batch number in the barcode that it reads together
For example, if the part number is 12345 and the batch number is 334455, it will be read by the barcode 334455_12345.
"Edara" relies on this separator to distinguish the information to choose the batch number using the barcode when activating the option Allow selecting batch number by using barcode
