# Allocating Items to a Specific Warehouse

Some may need to allocate certain items to a specific warehouse.

## Allocating Items to a Specific Warehouse

Before starting the allocation, first ensure that you have the [necessary permissions](https://help.getedara.com/en/articles/5244423-granting-permission-on-item-classifications) for the required item classifications, then follow these steps:

1. Go to the Warehouse Module
2. Select "Warehouses"
3. Search for the warehouse name using the search icon 🔎 or the arrows at the bottom of the screen.
4. Select the warehouse you want to allocate items to
5. Click " **Edit** "
6. Click " **Allocate** "

1. Choose the item classification from the drop-down menu.
2. Click " **Load** "
3. Select the items by changing the box icon "▢" to a checkmark "🗹" or select items on a specific page from "This Page" or select all items from "All Pages"
4. Click " **Save** " to save the selected items
5. Click " **Save** " again
