Many countries require the tax registration ID to be included on all commercial documents, including sales orders, to ensure compliance with tax laws and regulations.

## Adding the Tax Registration ID to the Sales Order Print Template

First, ensure to [add the customer’s tax registration ID](https://help.getedara.com/en/articles/5245799-editing-customer-data), then update the [Sales Order print template](https://help.getedara.com/en/articles/15620672-creating-print-templates) by following these steps:

1. Go to the Settings.
2. Open the "Print Set up".
3. Select the "Sales Order" page.
4. Choose the “Template” you want to modify (from the Template drop-down list).
5. Click on " **More Actions** ".
6. Click on " **Edit** ".
7. Click on "Company & bill to Data".
8. Enable the "Tax Registration ID" option.
9. Click " **Save** ."
