# Creating a Sales Store

To [create a multi-warehouse sales order](https://help.getedara.com/en/articles/5245538-creating-a-multi-warehouse-sales-order), you must first ensure that a Sales Store has been properly created and that you have the necessary access permissions.

## Creating a Sales Store

1. Go to the Sales module.
2. Open the “Sales Stores” page.
3. Click on " **New** ".
4. Enter the Sales Store Description.
5. Enter the Sales Store Code or alias.
6. [Link the store to a default customer](https://help.getedara.com/en/articles/5245645-setting-a-default-customer-for-a-sales-store) (if applicable).
7. Click on " **Save** ".
