# Changing Edara Password

If you want to change your password to enhance data security, "Edara" allows you to do so easily.

## Changing Edara Password

1. Open the User Data page by clicking on the user’s picture, username, or the arrow next to them “⮟”.
2. Select “User Profile”
3. Enter the new password twice to confirm

> **Note:** The password must meet the following criteria:
>
> - At least 8 characters.
> - At least one lowercase letter (a-z).
> - At least one uppercase letter (A-Z).
> - At least one number (0-9).
> - At least one symbol (!@#$%^&*?_~).

1. Click “ **Save** ”
