One of the key features in the “Edara” system is the ability to control the entry date of documents (Sales – Purchases – Accounting).

## Preventing the Entry of Documents with Future Dates

First, make sure you have [permission to access the Settings pages](https://help.getedara.com/en/articles/5244362-granting-revoking-page-permissions), then follow these steps:

1. Go to Settings.
2. Open the “Module Settings” page.
3. Choose the "Global" module.
4. Make sure the “Allow saving sales/purchase/accounting documents in future date” option is disabled.
5. Click on “ **Save** ”.
