# Displaying Profit by Product in the Analytics module

The Profit by Product component provides a clear view of product performance by comparing net sales with cost and calculating profit for each product, helping you make more accurate decisions.

## Displaying Profit by Product in the Analytics module

1. Go to the "Analytics" module.
2. Open the dashboard where you want to display the component or [create a new dashboard](https://help.getedara.com/en/articles/17021161-creating-a-new-dashboard-in-the-analytics-module) .

> **Note:** If the Profit by Product component does not appear on the dashboard, you can click on the "**+**" at the top of the screen, then click on the "**+**" next to Profit by Product to add it to the dashboard.

### Modifying the Profit by Product Component

1. Click on " **︙** ".
2. Click on " **Edit** ".
3. Click on " **Add Condition** " to add the filters you need.
4. Go to "Sort".
5. Select the column and sorting method.
6. Click on "Add Another Sort" to add additional sorting options for the component.
7. Go to "Fields".
8. Click on " " to control whether a field is displayed or hidden.
9. Click on " " next to a field and drag it up or down to control the order of fields within the component.
10. Click on “ **Save** ”.
