# Displaying Sales by Location in the Analytics module

The sales by location component helps you clearly track the sales performance of each location in detail, including sales, returns, discounts, and net sales, enabling you to compare results across different locations and analyze performance accurately.

## Displaying Sales by Location in the Analytics module

1. Go to the "Analytics" module.
2. Open the dashboard where you want to display the component or [create a new dashboard](https://help.getedara.com/en/articles/17021161-creating-a-new-dashboard-in-the-analytics-module) .

> **Note:** If the Sales by Location component does not appear on the dashboard, you can click on the "**+**" at the top of the screen, then click on the "**+**" next to Sales by Location to add it to the dashboard.

### Modifying the Sales by Location Component

1. Click on " **︙** ".
2. Click on " **Edit** ".
3. Click on " **Add Condition** " to add the filters you need.
4. Go to "Sort".
5. Select the column and sorting method.
6. Click on "Add Another Sort" to add additional sorting options for the component .
7. Go to "Fields".
8. Click on " " to control whether a field is displayed or hidden.
9. Click on " " next to a field and drag it up or down to control the order of fields within the component.
10. Click on “ **Save** ”.
