# Changing the Suggested Payment Method

You may need to change the suggested account for settling a sales order after it has been created and before processing the payment, such as changing the suggested cash account to another bank account, to ensure that the payment method aligns with the actual agreement with the customer.

## Changing the Suggested Payment Method

1. Go to the "Accounting" module.
2. Open the "Payment" page.
3. Search for the required sales order.
4. Press “Enter” on the keyboard.
5. Select the required account.
6. Click on " **Propose** ".
