# Editing a Bill of Materials

When you need to update a Bill of Materials due to changes in components or quantities, you can do it individually or in bulk as needed.

## Editing a Bill of Materials

First, make sure you have [permission to edit the Bill of Materials](https://help.getedara.com/en/articles/14779678-grant-editing-permission-to-the-bill-of-materials).

1. Go to the “Manufacturing” Module.
2. Open the “Bill of Materials” page.
3. Click on “ **︙** ” next to the bill of materials you want to edit.
4. Click on “ **Edit** ”.
5. Click on “ **More Options** ”.
6. Edit the required data.
7. Click on “ **Save** ”.
