You can disable a user’s permission to change the payment status to prevent any unauthorized changes.

## Preventing payment status changes for a user

1. Go To "Users".
2. Open the “Pages permissions” page.
3. Select the user’s name.
4. Click on " **＋** " next to "Accounting" until you reach "Payment".
5. Click on " **Payment** " to display the permissions.
6. Disable "Button Change Payment Status".
7. Click on " **Save** ".
